Additionally, the fund encourages outreach and support for individuals struggling with Bipolar disorder. An annual grant is awarded to a Montana program or organization engaged in helping individuals living with Bipolar, or a Montana group pursuing research into this condition.

Biography
Colin Craig was a lifelong resident of Bozeman, Montana whose love of the state was only rivaled by his dedication to
cycling and skiing. From an early age, his interest in skiing forged at Bridger Bowl became a passion, and led to a
career as a professional ski instructor at Bridger, Showdown, and Big Sky Resort. Working with children and teaching them
the fundamentals of the sport was his particular gift, and one that reflected his essential joy in the sport as well as his
appreciation of education and passing knowledge on to others.
Colin became enamored of cycling while working for Chalet Sports in Bozeman, an interest which embraced road and mountain competition riding as well as pure recreational riding. He was a co-founder of Team Delphine, a competitive racing program for women, and served as team soigner and a member of the Delphine board until his death. Colin found great happiness in every aspect of the Delphine organization, delighting in supporting the team while they raced as well as coaching new riders through their training. Giving back to the cycling community, and connecting its members in and out of season were essential and uncompromised goals for Colin.
A lifelong student, Colin pursued degrees in chemical engineering and photography. Respect for education, formal and informal, and the intricacies of knowledge and learning, were abiding aspects of his character. His loyalties to Montana as a whole were only divided at the annual Cat-Griz game, which he often attended in either Missoula or Bozeman (though always in Blue and Gold).
Colin Craig died in 2009, after a courageous twenty year struggle with bi-polar disorder. His ideals of community and full participation in life continue on in the hearts of his family, many friends, and in the vision of the Colin Craig Memorial Fund.
